David Azuz is a figurative painter who depicts humanity with a rich, colored and vigorous style. His pieces are audacious, full of curiosity for the everyday life details.

His characters, sketched or painted in the bars or markets of Rome, Paris or Tel-Aviv express loneliness. They appear to be in search of identity, represented in their universality and imbued with pathos.

David Azuz works at night in the Paris Cafés in search of the characteristic attitudes of the people staying in the bar, picturingyoung couples in love or lonely old women sipping a glass of alcohol.

The artist manages to give us, with his lively and enthusiastic disposition, the simple and everyday life gestures.
